Quality data matters – Why we signed the GDQ Data Quality Excellence Pledge

“We at Inlightened know how detrimental poor data – collection, storage, mining – can be on healthcare outcomes. Without quality data (and data practices), millions of dollars go into research on things like products, drugs, and technologies that never make it to market. Or, they get to market but aren’t leveraged to their full potential.

But what does having quality data really mean? To us, it’s about ensuring a curated, vetted panel of diverse professionals to drive the development and delivery of viable solutions that meet patients’ and providers’ needs across the entire healthcare innovation lifecycle.

Through strategic recruitment and onboarding, our team is able to understand our experts’ unique areas of specialization and interests. We employ several measures to verify credentials, identity, and both professional and personal backgrounds alike. That means we’re able to ensure quality matches and seamless, productive collaborations with better outcomes.

Sourcing diverse expert and patient perspectives helps to prevent bias in solutions. And solutions built in a vacuum don’t make an impact. That’s why it was important for us to sign the Global Data Quality (GDQ) Data Quality Excellence Pledge, a landmark global commitment to address persistent and emerging risks to data quality across market and social research, consumer insights, and analytics. It’s a collaborative movement to enhance data integrity and decrease fraud, and uphold the highest standards of data quality in every facet across the research, insights, and analytics industry. It creates industry‑wide baseline standards for data quality, signaling to clients and research buyers that organizations are committed to transparency, methodological rigor, and ethical conduct.

We are so proud to be a signatory of this pledge among leading organizations including ESOMAR, Insights Association, The Market Research Society (MRS), Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA), SampleCon, Intellus Worldwide and many more. Without quality data, healthcare simply cannot have quality outcomes.
